Tibideaux worked for many years as a machinist and ranch hand. He enjoyed restoring old cars, particularly small engines, and was known for saying, "If I can't fix it, it's not broken." An avid outdoorsman, he appreciated fast cars, fishing, four-wheeling, and especially motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dodson Sr.; his brother, David Dodson; his Dodson and Luster grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, a niece, and cousins. Despite these losses, family remained central to his life.
Tibideaux is survived by his children Rachelle Dodson, Melissa Hickey (husband Don Paul), and Lacie Santiago (husband Ricardo); grandchildren Seth, Matthew, Bailey, Arianna, Madison, Blakely, and Jett; great-granddaughter Blair; mother Ethel Dodson; brothers Charlie (wife Andrea) and Steve (wife Daveanne) Dodson; sister Cathy Merida (husband Jay); his closest friend Paula Richards; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He will also be missed by his beloved dog, "Buck", who was his best friend.
