Larry was born on January 10th, 1955 at Ellington Air Force Base in Houston, Texas to James and Thelda
Wyatt. Being a military family, Larry, his sister Deborah Lemieux (Wyatt), and their parents moved all around the country and the world. They moved to Ramstein Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany, to Fort Leonard Wood, MO, to North Aurora, IL. In 1968, his father retired from the army and the family settled in Del City, OK where Larry continued to reside until his passing.
Larry attended Del City High School where he played football and took auto mechanics. Once he graduated in 1973, he attended Rose State College. In 1974, Larry started working at what is now known as Prime Conduit in Oklahoma City and worked there for over 40 years. Larry was an extremely hard worker and was recognized for his outstanding dedication and service several times.
Larry was a jack of all trades. He was very intelligent and could take apart and fix just about anything. He was a talented pool player and enjoyed playing in his pool league. Larry was charming and generous to anyone he met. When Larry’s father passed, he took on the responsibility of caring for his chihuahua “Angel”. This is just one example of Larry’s kind heart. He was hesitant about having a dog at first, but the two became fast friends. He always said “Angel is a blessing”.
After retiring in 2015, Larry enjoyed a simple life. He loved driving his truck around town with his windows rolled down with his best (dog) friend Angel in the passenger seat. He appreciated food and good company and loved going out to eat with family and friends. He enjoyed music, singing and “dancing” around the kitchen.
Larry is survived by his daughter Kan Wyatt, sister Deborah Lemieux (Wyatt), and nephew Matthew Lemieux.
