She was born February 1, 1945, to John and Lillie McGuire in Keota, OK. She married Charles "Sam” Williams on Nov. 2,1962, and of this union came two children, Tina and Jeff.
She worked in several school cafeterias for over 20 years and retired from Oklahoma City Public Schools.
She enjoyed going to the lake and camping with her family and friends. She loved gardening in her flower beds and feeding the birds.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Williams; daughter, Tina Calvert and husband Keith Calvert of Tuttle, OK; son, Jeff Williams of OKC; grandchildren, Charlie Williams, Delisa Williams, Jeffrey Williams of OKC, and Chad Wells of Tuttle, OK; great-grandchildren, Mya Williams, Mac Williams, Braylee Wells, Avery Wells, and Laylah Williams; step-sister, Peggy Edwards of Tamaha, OK; and life-long best friend, Flora Young of Keota, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie McGuire; stepmother, Janie Rae McGuire; her nine siblings, Leon, LaVon, Troy, Clyde, Harold, Oscar, Dorothy, Gerald, and Murl; as well as her mother-in-law, Letha Williams.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 1, from 9-10am.
A graveside service will be held at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, US, on August 1, 2026, at 10:00 am
A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 with reception following at 12:00 pm.
