

He married Ellen Marie Allen on February 13, 1956 in Stigler, Oklahoma. Lawrence worked in the coal mines of eastern Oklahoma for many years. In 1962 he moved his family to Oklahoma City and worked at Demco (Cooper Cameron) as a machinist until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching wrestling and especially spending time with his five grandkids.
Survived by wife, Marie of the home. 4 daughters; Linda Calderon and husband Julian of Choctaw, Oklahoma. Debra Green of Oklahoma City, Ruth Green of the home, and Barbara Wall of Oklahoma City. 1 son; Eugene Green of Oklahoma City. 4 grandsons; Jason Calderon of Las Vegas, Nevada, Brandon Calderon of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jonathon and Dylan Wall of Oklahoma City. 1 granddaughter; Melania Wall of Oklahoma City. 2 brothers; David Griffith and Charles Griffith both of Poteau, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his mother, Dessie Griffith and stepfather William Griffith.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, February 3, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel in Del City with Interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
