It is with profound sadness and heartfelt respect that we announce the passing of Letitia Klara Poolaw, a deeply cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Letitia departed this world on March 29, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by the warmth of her family and the comforting embrace of her beloved husband, George Poolaw, in their home. She was born on November 28, 1964, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to the late Alberto Rangel and Tommy Jean Jones. Letitia's journey through life was one of grace, compassion, and unyielding love.
Letitia's parents, Alberto Rangel and Tommy Jean Jones, along with her grandparents Eugene Jones, Doyle Hisey, and Clara Hisey, await her in eternity, as do her grandsons Christian Pierce and Terry Alexander Parker, who left this world too soon. While we mourn her passing, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind through her surviving family members: her devoted husband, George Poolaw; her children, Leigha Pierce, Kacie Lilly, and Jonathan Lee; her adored grandchildren Camden Lilly, Paxton Lilly, Oliver Lee, Emelia Turberville, and Sylvia Turberville; and her loving siblings, brother Joseph Rangel and sister Melissa Rangel.
Letitia was a proud alumna of Del City Senior High School, where she first began to shape the remarkable woman she would become. Her life's work was dedicated to being a homemaker, a title she embraced with pride and dedication. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and warmth, a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Her marriage to George was a beautiful chapter in her life. They exchanged vows on January 18, 2019, in an intimate ceremony in the enchanting city of Savannah, Georgia. Together, they explored the world, sharing a mutual passion for travel. Letitia had a special affinity for collecting perfumes from her journeys, with New Orleans holding a particularly dear place in her heart.
A faithful and cherished member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Richmond Hill, Georgia, Letitia was known for her generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her ability to make strangers feel like old friends was a testament to her warm and welcoming nature.
Letitia's life will be celebrated on April 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, located at 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, Oklahoma. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Letitia's kindness and love are invited to join in honoring a life so beautifully lived.
In remembrance of Letitia, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to guide and inspire us. Her laughter, warmth, and generosity will be missed but never forgotten. As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman, let us carry her memory with us, cherishing the love she so freely gave and the lives she profoundly touched—a sincere thank you from our family to everyone who helped along her journey of life.
