She married Tom Hawthorne on March 9, 1951. She retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1983. She enjoyed being a member of her church, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents; husband Tom Hawthorne; son Harold Hager, daughter Bonnie Zehbe; and granddaughter Denise Mojica. She is survived by her children, Gloria Divin, Carol Ready, Alan Hawthorne, and Nita Beach; grandchildren, Angela, Denisa, Melinda, Ingrid, Joy, Kristy, Daniel, Bobby, Susan, and Melissa; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
The family would like to thank Timberwood Assisted Living for all of the wonderful care and love received over the years. We also would like to thank Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church for your kindness and prayers.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
