She graduated from Edmond Memorial and attended Central State Teachers College. She was married for 71 years to her loving husband, Virgil Peterson and together they had four children Bob, George (Pete), Oscar and Nancy; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Eileen was a devoted minister’s wife and pianist for the churches Virgil pastored in his life. She worked at John A. Browns, Streets, GE-Seagate and in the book department at Mardels; a member of Delta Zeta, an avid football and Thunder fan, loved to read, taught Bible studies and had a zest for life.
