Linda Kay Gercken

Linda Kay Gercken took her first breath in Heaven on March 13, 2023. Linda was born December 14, 1941 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Lloyd F. and Ruby E. DuBoise. She passed away peacefully in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Linda enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, hiking and pickle-ball, and was a dedicated volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. She especially enjoyed spoiling her dog, Abi-Li. Linda was a member of Sun Lakes United Methodist Church in Sun Lakes, Arizona. She is survived by three children; Shawn W. Doughty of Shawnee, Jamie Doughty, wife, Amy of Oklahoma City and Laura Doughty, husband, Dennis Abrams, their children and grandchildren of Thornton, Colorado, sister Jackie Johnson of Shawnee, grandson Andrew Doughty of Oklahoma City and nephews. She is also survived by five step-children; Linda A. Gercken, Artie Gercken, Robert, wife, Liu-Lin Gercken, Susan, husband, Russ, and Kevin Gercken along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Art Gercken, and sister, Joyce. She will be dearly missed by her family.
