Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her Daughter Gina Marie; and two sisters: Mary Kay, and Patsy. Linda is survived by her Husband and love of her life, James Houston Phillips; her children: James J. and wife Dawna, Robert H., Tessie and Adam, and Dhyanna; six grandchildren: James, Dustin, Derek, Amber, Caleb, and Emma; five great-grandsons; and many other family members and friends. Linda was the type of person you don’t forget, she always made an everlasting impression. Linda was everyone’s go to person, friends would call her to ask medical advice, legal advice, and advice for just about anything. No, there was no doctorate with her name on it, but nonetheless, people had such trust in Linda that they respected and valued her opinion. Linda was the type of person who didn’t’ need a bunch of nonsense she took value and pleasure in the simple things of life. She enjoyed crosswords and all puzzles but above all she loved her family. Linda’s unselfishness when it came to her family was unmatched. She loved her grandchildren with such a passion that you would think they that where her own. Linda met the man of her dreams when she was only 16 years old. The love they shared was so grand that there are not enough words to describe the connection they had to one another. Although Linda had an amazing heart and Loved with such deep passion she was also feisty with passion. She did everything she could to care for her family and make sure they never went without and if you got in her way that feistyness just might come out. But that was one of the great things about Linda, she was such a firecracker. Linda was a mother, a wife, and a friend and there is only one Linda. We love you Linda and the memories we have made with you will be cherished until we meet again.
