Linda Charline Smallwood was born on March 11, 1951 to Clyde Derrell Richards and Billie Jean (Latham) Richards in Wichita, Kansas. Linda entered her eternal rest on April 28, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband and soul mate, Kenneth Smallwood; her sister, Sherry Woolum and step-son, Greg Maxon.
Linda is survived by her son Billy Smallwood and his loving wife Tammy of Edmond, Oklahoma; and their children, Samantha, Natalie, Joseph, and Grace. She is also survived by her step children; Shelly Baker and her children, Kene and Courtney, and Kim Davis and her children, Desiree, Leslie, and Jamie. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Colton, Kirsten, Jessie, Harley, Chance, and Kymberlyn. Linda was everything that you’d expect a mother to be; she was a loving and nurturing woman. She enjoyed talking to her son on the phone every day and going to get her nails and hair done with her “salon friends”. Before Kenneth had passed, he and Linda enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune together. Linda owned a little dog named Toby, and you could almost say he was like her baby. Linda was a true caregiver, whether it was for her family, friends, or her little dogs. She was always taking care of somebody and previously worked as a personal caregiver for the elderly. It takes a strong and open heart to place others before yourself, and Linda was that special person. She will be loved and missed but never forgotten.
