Lois G. Hudson, 87, of Del City, Oklahoma, died Thursday, August 22, 2019. She was born on January 11, 1932 in Holton, Kansas. She was the second of four daughters born to Hallie and Dorothy Boettcher. Lois graduated in 1949 from Seaman High School in Topeka, Kansas. On September 27, 1950 she married Roger Hudson in Topeka. She retired from Mid-Del public schools. She enjoyed listening to George Strait, rooting for both the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma City Thunder! Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, her parents, a brother in law; Cecil Matheny and a son in law; John Coles.Her memory will continue to be cherished by her daughters; Debbie Coles of Moore, and Cheryl and husband Todd Weathers of Edmond; son David Hudson of Del City, granddaughters Kristen Boeckman of Moore, Jennifer Coles and husband Tim Clark of Moore, Rachel Weathers of Edmond, great-grandson Michael Boeckman of Moore, sisters Betty Matheny of Topeka, Kansas, Wanda Davidson and husband Ernie of Iola, Kansas and Donna Dittmer and husband Jim of Independence, Kansas, and a host of nieces and nephews.

We have truly enjoyed mowing her yard and visiting with her when we did it over the last several years. I was also her physical therapist a few times when she had home health and she was an exceptional patient and a pleasure to work with. She will be greatly missed.
