He is survived by his children, Dana & Tri Lane of Powder Springs, Georgia; Steve and Norma Rooney of Clearwater, Kansas; Eldon Lane from Lexington, Oklahoma; Denise Barnhart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mike Lane of Bluefield, West Virginia; sister, Elizabeth Personett of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; brothers, Bobby Gene Lane & James Lane of Texanna, Oklahoma. He has 10 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Norma (Mitchum) Lane "Deanie"; step-children, Shari Balthrop & James M. Kessler "Mitch"; brothers, Harold Lane & Don Lane; sisters, JoAnn Moore & Carolene Lane (Fox).
He worked for Brinks Security for 30 years of service.
