Lonnie R. Miller was born on November 20, 1934 in Avery, Oklahoma to L.P. & Ethel Miller. He entered into his eternal home with Jesus on September 5, 2016. He moved with his family to the Del City area in 1936. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1953. He was a retired business owner having owned and operated J&L Tabbing and Numbering for 10 years retiring in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Joan; his parents; 4 brothers, Jay, Bill, Marlon and Floyd; and 1 sister, Veda Girod. Surviving him are son Don & wife Glenda Miller; daughter Patty & husband Ken Davis; granddaughter Amanda Miller and great-grandson Owen Spencer; 2 brothers, Irven Miller & Willard Miller; sisters-in-law Carolyn Miller, Martha Miller & Florence Allison; brothers-in-law Bill Girod & Dell Allison; and numerous loving nieces & nephews. The family wishes to thank Quality Care Hospice and especially nurse Treva for the care given to our dad for the past month.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Sunnylane United Methodist Church with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery. We love you, Dad. We’ll see you & Mom soon.
