Louis was a veteran of the Navy (four years) and of the Army National Guard (thirty-five years), serving as a military policeman for twenty years of those years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and dancing. He was a member of the Baptist Temple of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lawrence Younger. He is survived by his wife Amy Younger ; four sons, Louis William Jr., Phillip Younger, Darold Reiter, and Nathan Reiter; four daughters, Julia Shadley, Kathleen Younger, Anita Reese, and Paula Hathorn; grandchildren, Rachael Younger, Cassie Payne, Cole Younger, Nicole Knapp and Chelsea Younger; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel in Del City.
