

Lova Pearl (Hurt) Allman, 91, passed away at her home on August 28, 2012. Lova was born on January 15, 1921 in Chester, OK to John James and Pearl Ann (Shepard) Hurt. She was always proud that she got to share her Birthday with her first grandson Paul.
Lova proudly served her country in the United States Air Force and was a teacher in the military for many years. She was a life time member of the Girl Scouts Of America and the American Legion #0051. She was also members of the Oklahoma Retired Educators Association and VFW Ladies Auxilliary #9969.
Lova was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville Edward Allman; and great-grandson, Joshua Ray Bradley. Survivors include her children, Don Allman (Victoria), Pam Freeman (Lee), Kay Scott, Rex Allman (Debbi); grandchildren, Kim McGaughey (Robb), Liz Bermudez (Sergio), Paul Freeman, Amie Hicks (Clint), Michael Scott (Alyssa), Ashley McGarry (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Robert and Matthew McGaughey, Isabell Bermudez, Mydia Freeman, Alex and Andy Bradley, Kytana, David and Kasandra Scott, Ella Mikesell.
The visitation will begin on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
