Lucille grew up in Oklahoma City in a very large religious family. She graduated from Moore high school, where she started her adult life as a homemaker taking care of her Husband and three beautiful children. When the need came for her to start working, she had two main careers, the first at Collegiate Cap and Gown and then Hobby Lobby where she retired from after 26 years.
Lucille was a very loving and caring person. She spent 20 of her last 22 years taking care of Husband who was disabled after a motorcycle wreck. She had one of the biggest hearts of anyone and would help anyone in need as long as they were willing to help themselves. If you needed her, she was there for you. She had a great sense of humor and was usually laughing and having a good time with those that were around her, but also would tell you what she thought (at least she did with her children).
Lucille loved art and was a very talented artist. She enjoyed many hobbies such as painting; making ceramics (she won many awards at the state fair), drawing, making stained glass pictures and her most recent projects included making quilts with her Sisters. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.
Services are held at Sunny Lane Cemetery at 2:00 pm on December 8th.
