Luther married Aleta Mae Pierce on July 12, 1950 and was blessed with 2 sons; William and Roger and 3 daughters; Barbara, Janet, and Brenda. He has 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Siblings include, George Jr., Joe Calib, Joyce, Velma, Carolyn, Fran, and Virginia Ann.
He is preceded in Death by his parents, George and Samantha Ingram, his wife Aleta Mae Ingram, brother Calib, and sisters Joyce and Velma.
He worked on the Reciprocal Engine assembly line at Tinker Air Force Base for a short time, but he didn’t like being cooped up inside so he went to work in the oil fields until they went bust in Oklahoma, then he switched to driving a cement truck until he retired.
He loved to work on the home-place, keeping the property in good shape and enjoyed gardening for many years. He also loved to sit outside with a good fire, star gazing with good ole country music playing, and company was always welcomed at the old home place.
Luther is loved, and will be missed by all.
