Lynn Marie Cunningham

Lynn Cunningham, a beacon of warmth and compassion, went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on July 25, 1965, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Lynn was the cherished daughter of Rev. Al and Laura Luehmann. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Laura who, together with her father, were the guiding lights in her life.

Lynn's life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering faith. She met the love of her life, Jeff Cunningham, and they were married on March 20, 1992, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Over their 34 years together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and

cherished memories. In May of 1998 they travelled to China and welcomed their wonderful daughter, Sarah, into their lives.

A dedicated educator, Lynn graduated from Concordia University - St. Paul with a Bachelor's in Education. Her passion for teaching led her to Good Shepherd Lutheran School, where she began her career in 1987 as a first-grade teacher. Over the years, she also taught kindergarten and provided individual instruction, touching the lives of countless young students. Lynn's commitment to education was driven by her deep love for Jesus and her desire to share His teachings with children.

Lynn was a woman of simple pleasures and profound joys. She found delight in solving sudoku puzzles, indulging in chick flicks, romantic comedies, sitcoms, and playing with her two dogs. Her happiest moments were spent with Jeff and Sarah, creating a life of beautiful memories filled with laughter and love.

Surrounded by a loving family, Lynn leaves behind her devoted husband, Jeff; her treasured daughter, Sarah, and her husband Austin; her father, Rev. Al Luehmann; her sister, Laurie, and her fiancé Steven; her brother, John, and his wife Anna; her brother, Cameron "Jamie" Quickbear; as well as a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.Each of them carries a piece of Lynn's spirit, a testament to the kindness and compassion she bestowed upon them.

Lynn's life will be celebrated at a service on August 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, located at 700 N. Air Depot Blvd. in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Her family invites all who knew her to join in honoring her incredible life and legacy.
