Manuel Lozano, 81, passed away on January 27, 2015. Manuel was born on December 23, 1933 in Hartshorne, OK to Frank and Hillaria Lozano (Bargus). Manuel was a hard worker who owned a 60+ acre farm from 1971 to approximately 2009. He loved to go deer hunting, fishing for bass, and camp whenever he had the chance. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and University of Oklahoma football fan. He and his wife, Helen would take many trips to Iowa, California, and Washington State.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Salvador, Tommie, Mike, Frank, and David; 4 sisters, Daisy Banks, Sebena Miller, Billie Lozano, and Mary Overholt; 2 great grandchildren, Turner Dorrell and Sydney Lozano. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Helen Lozano; children, Jean E. Ruiz and husband Robert, Carol Adams, and Bob E. Lozano; grandchildren, Denise San Filippo, David Dorrell and wife Dominica, Ted Dorrell and wife Tami, Jennifer Lozano, and Robert Lozano; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Lacey San Filippo, Minerva and Mars Dorrell, Tessa and Treyton Dorrell, Baylee Perkinson, Karma Wadlow, Raymee and Mitchell Lozano; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.
Family will be receiving other family and friends, Friday January 30, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
