

Marcella was born in Kansas City, Kansas, to Hortence and Everett Robinson. She was the seventh of eight children and was known for being a tomboy during her younger years.
Marcella attended Northeast Jr. High School, where she met Jesse Moore at the age of 13. The couple married on November 5, 1952, when Marcella was 17 and Jesse was 19. Together, they had two sons: Jesse Moore Jr., born on March 9, 1955 in Kansas City, Kansas, and Anthony N. Moore, born on April 10, 1957, after the family moved to California in 1956.
Marcella loved gardening, cooking, and caring for others. She worked for an electronics company for about 10 years before becoming a floor manager at a retirement facility, where she worked for 15 years before retiring and moving to Oklahoma City.
Her love for people, especially children, led her to work at Del City High School for three years, the same school attended by her grandchildren. Marcella never truly retired. She continued caring for those around her by helping neighbors, watching over children as they played, and handing out snacks throughout the neighborhood.
Marcella's kindness, warmth, and caring spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Hortense Robinson, Father Everett Robinson, 3 sisters, Betty Bolden, Peggy Walker, Lizzy Poindester, and 4 brothers Everett Robinson Jr., Bobby Robinson, Earl Robinson, Melvin Robinson, Grandson Rickey Smith,
She leaves behind to morn her lost, her Sons Jesse Moore, Anthony Moore His Wife Deloris Moore, Sister in law Michelle Robinson, Grand Children, Kim Jackson, Lisa Joseph, Anthony Moore Jr.
Dominique Smith, Demetra Smith, Heather Moore, and Jesse Tyler Moore IV, 16 Great Grand Children, and 9 Great Great Grandchildren. and a host of Nieces Nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, US, on May 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
