Marcial "Masas" Rodriguez

As Masas would say “wuz up mutha f…….” Marcial, age 47, passed away leaving behind a legacy of friendship, laughter, and love. Known by his friends as "Masas"and by his family as "Chal," he had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel like a best friend. His humor, infectious laughter, and beautiful personality touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A man of strong faith and devotion, Marcial was rarely seen without his cherished scapular of La Virgen del Carmen, a symbol of the faith that guided him throughout his life.

Marcial was a proud boxer whose determination and strength extended far beyond the ring. He was also a dedicated member of the Viejitos Car Club, where he shared his passion for classic automobiles. Among his greatest treasures was his beloved 1946 Chevrolet Fleetmaster, a car he proudly maintained and enjoyed.

He was a proud graduate and lifelong 17th Street Hillsider, carrying that identity with pride wherever life took him. Marcial attended Langston University and dedicated more than 20 years of service to Bunzl. In addition to his career, he worked tirelessly mowing lawns as a side business, always willing to put in the extra effort to provide for those he loved.

Marcial cherished spending time with family and friends. He was deeply loved by his siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces, all of whom will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Whether sharing a laugh, talking about cars, enjoying time with loved ones while drinking his beloved Bud Light, Marcial lived life with authenticity, generosity, and joy. His presence brought people together, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void.

Though his time with us was far too short, Marcial's spirit, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

Survived by his parents Maria and Marcial Rodriguez. His siblings Martha, Roberto, Maria Belen, Victor and Erica. His nieces and nephews Efrain, Mayra, Kristina, Mia, Roberto Jr, Lamberto Jr, Manuel, Juanito, Daniel, Mario, Dimas, Angelica, David, Miguel, Ismael, Sebastian and Tatiana.

Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, US, on June 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary Service from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  

A Funeral Service will take place at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 2121 N Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73107, US, on June 23, 2026, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City.

Pallbearers honoring Masas will be Victor Rodriguez, Jose Sanchez, Adan Federico, Ismael Olivarez, Efrain Reyna, James Orquiz, Roberto Rodriguez, and Valentin Medrano.
