Marilyn Louise Pratt, a beloved mother, grandmother, cherished friend, and devoted pet owner, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 75.
Born on April 14, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, Marilyn’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and joy. She proudly served in the Army, enlisting on October 27, 1968, and later married the love of her life on November 22 1969
Marilyn had a passion for gardening, was a talented interior decorator with Home Interiors, and found great joy in substituting at schools. She also loved to sew and often took her creations to the fair, winning first place for a dress she made.
Her greatest pride and joy were her four children, her grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Maya, who was her best friend and constant companion. Her love for Mia was truly unwavering.
A memorial service for Marilyn will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Henderson Hills Baptist Church, 1200 E I-35 Frontage, Edmond, Oklahoma 73034.
