Mark Stanton McClung passed away unexpectedly on March 1st, 2013. Mark was born on November 18th, 1953 in Del City, Oklahoma to Devota “Mac” S. McClung and Helen Louise McClung. He graduated from Del City High School in 1972 and he married the love of his life, Teri Nichols, on August 13th, 1978. In 1983, he went to work at Tinker Air Force Base as a sheet metal worker until the time of his death. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and cheering for the OSU Cowboys .
He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Teri, his son, Jonah and his wife Amanda, his son Lucas and Stephanie, three grandsons, Shane, Kade, and Kody, McClung, all of Oklahoma City, his mother, Helen McClung, of Del City, and his sister, Clara Terranova and husband Peter, of Oklahoma City, and his in-laws, Jim and Pat Nichols, of Oklahoma City. Mark will be sorely missed by the family he loved so much and by all those who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends 4 – 8 pm Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Monday, March 4, 2013 at Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church, 4500 SE 31st St, Del City, OK.
