Marsha Lou Springer was born on October 2nd 1949 and went home to be with her Lord on January 25th 2022. She lived her whole life in Oklahoma City, graduating from Capitol Hill High School in 1967. After high school, Marsha worked as office manager at Collegiate Cap and Gown for over 20 years. In 1976 she would marry her high school sweetheart Russell Springer. They were married for 45 years.
Marsha loved to sing. Her beautiful voice was a gift God blessed her with and she used it to do so much. She would sing at nursing homes, where she would oftentimes dance with the people there. She said it blessed her heart as much as it did theirs. She sang Sunday specials in church, as well as in the church choir. She would even sing when she was talking and something reminded her of a song. She was a Country Music Singer Association singer and in their competitions she acquired many awards. She loved spending time with family. All occasions were celebrated at her house and she was the best host! She loved to celebrate Christmas the most. She made sure that anyone who showed up had a Christmas gift. That is because she always wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time and well taken care of. She was such a happy lady, easily amused and she had a laugh that was absolutely contagious!
Marsha is preceded in death by her father Johnny Sanders O'Neal, her mother Euleta Wynn and step father Robert (Bob)Wynn and her sister Dorothy Lee Graham. She is survived by brother Johnny Sanders O’Neal, sister Sandra O’Neal, her husband Russell Springer, her children, daughter Sherri Porter and husband David, son Keith Springer and his wife Virginia, son Shane Springer and daughter Angela SanRoman and husband Martin. Marsha had 6 grandchildren whom she loved spending time with. Dustin Porter, Adam Porter, Ashley Phillips and husband Aaron, Lathan Springer and wife Caitlyn, Logan SanRoman and Mia SanRoman. Marsha was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren. She was a loving person, who loved so many. We all loved her so much and will miss her until we see her again.
