Martha Sue Heinlen

Martha Sue Heinlen, age 84, of Midwest City, was born January 19, 1933 in Healdton, OK, the daughter of Edward C. and Ursula Mae “Sue” (Myers) Heinlen. Martha left this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Grace Living Center, Del City, OK.

Martha was a legal secretary for Roy C. Lytle for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Healdton, OK. Martha enjoyed attending the ballet, symphony, musical theatre, and taking long car trip vacations with her brother, John and younger sister, “Missy”. She also loved watching OU Football and the OKC Thunder.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Ruth Heinlen; brother, John Meyer Heinlen. Survivors include her sister, Mary Ann Kidd of Lakewood, Colorado; son, David Powell of OKC and three nieces: Kim Kidd Richardson, Park City, Utah; Kristen Kidd, Littleton, Colorado; and Joanna Kidd Zeromski, Guffey, Colorado.

The family wishes to thank all the employees of Timberwood Assisted Living Center and also, the Grace Living Center, Del City, OK for their loving care of Martha. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton, Oklahoma.
