Martha K. Pexa, 90, died Friday, December 18, 2009 in Oklahoma City. She was born December 11, 1919 in Minco, OK, to Thomas Mathias and Daisy Mann. She lived in the Oklahoma City area all her life. Martha was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and served as a Eucharist Minister. She was a member of the Red Hat Club at Warr Acres Nursing Home. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Pexa, Sr. and sisters: Lucy Walker, Reba Brumlow, Elisabeth Taylor and Catherine Barton and grandson, Dalton Nichols. Survivors include her son, John H. Pexa, Jr.; daughters, Martha Marie Hopkins and Teresa Christine Pexa; nine grandchildren: Heather Michelle and Ricky Don Russell, Jr., Lisa Hughes, Aaron and Sean Brown, Jennifer Nichols, Tracy Peckham, Nicki Pexa and Christy Hopkins; and twelve great grandchildren, Autumn, Jarrett, Robbie, Josh, Cody, D.J., Chealsea, Blake, Dylan, Tyler, Aubrey and Mason. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Sunny Lane Chapel with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Sunny Lane Funeral Home and Cemetery, Del City, OK.
