Mary, lovingly known by most of her friends and family as Rebecca was born on the 23rd day of January in 1922 to Joe and Leora Russell. She was raised in and attended High School in Prairie Hill, Texas.
Rebecca was a spiritual woman who loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her four children, Linda LaFrance of Salt Lake City, Utah; Lester (Ray) and Cheila Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK; John and Ella Anderson of Erwin, NC; James R Anderson Jr. (Jimmy) of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter in-law Diana Searle of Nevada; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Jo Bess and Virginia of Irving, Texas and Frances of Atlanta, Georgia; and several wonderful nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James R. Anderson, and two sons Kenneth and Russell Searle.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Norman, Oklahoma.
