Mary Kaye Gray

Mary Kaye Gray, age 82, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was born in Anadarko, OK on October 28, 1941 to Arnold L. Thomasson and Nancy Annie (Lunsford) Thomasson. She resided in Anadarko, Marlow, and then Midwest City. She ran the Gray's Donut Shop in Anadarko with her husband, Jerry. Later, she worked at Southwestern Bell for 27 years, and retired from there.

Mary loved the Lord, and enjoyed listening to hymns, especially singer George Jones. She loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Gray; parents, Arnold and Nancy Thomasson; and siblings George William Thomasson of Texas, Bobby Ray Thomasson (wife Loretta) of Texas, Annette McNamar (husband Clarence) of Anadarko, Shirley Gauthier (husband Shorty) of Midwest City, Veda Randall of Anadarko, Alice Thomasson of Anadarko, and Jessie Vance (husband Rufus Jr.) of Anadarko.

She is survived by her children, Wesley L. Gray of Midwest City, OK and Lori L. Janzen (husband Alan W. Janzen Jr.) of Mustang, OK; daughter-in-law Jeri Posey of Midwest City; 9 grandchildren, Michael Gray (wife Jessica Chartney), Kenin Gray, Cody Gray, Corbyn Roe, Jaiden Gray, Taylar Janzen, Brittany Janzen, Ashleigh Pitts (husband William), Kasandra Janzen, and Mistina Crane (husband Stephen); and 8 great-grandchildren, Eisley, Harlow, Brennan, Max, Scarlett, Malaki, Brynlee, and Leo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.

A funeral service will occur at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the church she attended as a child, Bethel Baptist Church, 503 Florida Ave, Anadarko, OK 73005.

Memorial donations may be made in Mary's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
