Mary Rebecca Hutchison

Mary Hutchison of Yukon Oklahoma, was born October 30, 1929 and died January 14, 2025. She was born in Bremerton Washington, to Frank and Edith Sivard, the last of four children. Frank and Edith moved back to the Capitol Hill area of Oklahoma City in the 1930s and that is where Mary grew up and went to Capitol Hill High School.

She met the love of her life Ralph T. Hutchison and they married January 14,1948 and they had three children, Carol, David and Dennis.

In the 1950s Mary worked as a waitress in downtown Oklahoma City at H&L Greens store and later at John A. Browns department store. She enjoyed working downtown with all the buildings and people around. Later years she worked at Liberty Bank downtown in the Stocks Transfer Department.

Mary's life was characterized by her kindness, generosity, and commitment to her faith. She volunteered regularly at her church and the local food pantry, cooking meals for those in need. She enjoyed bargain shopping, collecting Coca-Cola Memorabilia, crossword puzzles, and game shows. Her influence extended beyond her immediate family, as she helped raise multiple generations.

She is survived by her children and daughters-in-law Teddy Hutchison and Terry Hutchison. Her grandchildren Angie Gates-Streit, Scott Morrison, Lauren Gibson, Andrew Hutchison and Jeffery Morrison. Great-grandchildren Nicole Morales, Jordan Gates, Josiah Morrison, Zach Morrison and Kora Hutchison.

A funeral service for Mary will be held at 3pm Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
