She was the beloved sister, friend, aunt who was full of life and love for her family. Mary Elvonda Coker Lazano, daughter of Lem Z. and Manolia Mae Coker passed away November 8, 2012 with her dearest friend, J.R. Mayberry, and many family and friends close by her bedside. Mary was born into a large, fun-loving and close family on February 14, 1944 in Capitol Hill. She attended Stand Watie, Jackson and graduated from Capitol Hill High School where she married her high school sweetheart. Mary was precede in death by her father and mother, Lem Z. and Manolia Mae Coker, and 7 siblings. Mary is survived by her brother, Earnest Z. Coker; sisters Betty Marie Coker Alvarado Thomas, Lou C. Kerr; her best friend of 30 years, J.R. Mayberry; many nieces and nephews, especially Deborah Nolan, and lots of close and dear friends. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 14 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, with burial of ashes to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
