Mary Ann Machamer, 75, was born December 21, 1931, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to Salvadore and Margaret Messina. Mary died on Sunday, July 22, 2007 with her sons David, Jr. and John at her side. Mary Ann graduated from Pottsville High School in 1950 and played the saxophone in the high school band. She worked as a cashier at various grocery stores throughout Oklahoma City. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a 40 year active member of the Ascension Lutheran Church in Del City, Oklahoma. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, and 4 brothers, Jimmy, Lawrence, Miles and Anthony. Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years, David; two sons, David, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Edmond; Son John of Oklahoma City, and granddaughters Jessica, Allison, and Emily, and one brother Salvadore of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. Formal visitation will be 7-9 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Sunny Lane Chapel with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
