My cousin, "Little Maurice," was a larger-than-life presence my entire life. We had such fun at family get-togethers and he and Ronnie were so patient and generous to let me hang with the big kids, too-young-for-real-fun tag-along that I was. Maurice led a big life, was a character and always did it his way, with that sheepish grin that let him get away with it. There's a hole in the Earth family, but I trust he's in The Show now and sharing a bourbon, cards and some big almost-true stories with Big Maurice, Peggy, Jo and Richard. Rich and I send wishes for peace to Kara, Ronnie, Shelley, Sheila and Little Kara, and love to help mend your hearts.

Maurice and I were friends from an early age. We rode horses together and had great times. He was a kind and generous friend. We had just reconnected on facebook and I was so glad to see that he was still having a happy life. I laughed at his motorcycle picture because we had a lot of motor scooter adventures also. Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss. He loved you all so much.
