Melvin Leon Taylor, 82 of Del City, OK passed away April 12, 2012. He was born July 4, 1929 in McCamey, TX to W.E. Taylor & Elise (Thompson) Taylor. He served his country in the United States Army & Army National Guard in the 45th Infantry, Ada, OK. He was a carpenter & retired from the Carpenters Union.
Melvin is survived by his children, daughters Christine L. Azar of Del City, OK; Tina L. Bookout of Temecula, CA. son Tommy L. Taylor of Oklahoma City, OK. grandchildren; Jonathon Taylor, Shane Taylor, Todd Taylor, Jeremey Taylor, Kandee Taylor, Travis Bookout, & Nathan Bookout; 3 brothers Bill Taylor, Bryan Taylor, Stanley Taylor, 2 sisters LaVaughn Lundgaard and Polly Flatt. Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jacqueline Lee Taylor & son Gary L. Taylor.
