Michael Frank Trammell was born in Sulphur, Oklahoma on July 6, 1948 and went home to be with Jesus on August 19, 2026. Mike was the son of Leo Frank and Gertrude (Pittman) Trammell. He graduated in 1968 from Del City High School.
Mike married the love of his life, Jennifer Trammell, on August 19, 1972. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base with 28 years of service working as a machinist and aircraft mechanic. He was an active member of First Southern Baptist Church of Del City for over 50 years. He loved all things cars, puzzles, tinkering in the garage and making memories with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws (Pete and Virginia Elkins).
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Jennifer; his son and daughter-in-law Cale and Amy Trammell and three wonderful grandchildren: Sophia Dare, twin grandsons Leo Michael and David Cale of Del City OK; brother Jim (Debbie) Trammell, Midwest City, OK and many cousins and wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, 10:00 am, at First Southern Baptist Church, 6400 S. Sooner Road, OKC 73135 with Drew Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
