Mignon Alberta Armstrong, age 93 of Oklahoma City passed away November 19, 2005. She was born August 26, 1912 in Holtsville, CA to William and Florence Mitchell. Her family moved to Oklahoma in 1914 and she remained in Oklahoma City throughout her life. Mignon married Coitt Charles Armstrong in 1926. She was a very dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter and caretaker, Virginia Lewis; sons, Gerald Ray Armstrong and wife Dolores, Karl G. Armstrong and wife Eve, Billie G. Armstrong and wife Glenda; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Coitt, her son, Charles Armstrong and brother, Albert Hussfeldt.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
