Mileena Saira Black was born on November 19, 2008, and went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2026, following a long and courageous battle after a devastating car accident.
Mileena was preparing to begin her senior year at Choctaw High School, standing at the threshold of a new chapter in her life as she began discovering what the world had in store for her. At just 17 years old, she had so much life ahead of her and so many possibilities waiting to unfold. She was beautiful, wise, funny, and kind beyond her years. She had a special way of making those around her feel loved, and her caring heart was evident in the way she lived her life.
As the first grandchild on her mother’s side of the family, Mileena held a special place in everyone’s hearts. As she grew older, she became someone her family could always count on. Whether someone needed a helping hand, a little extra love, or someone simply to be there, Mileena made herself available to the people she loved. She helped care for many of the younger grandchildren as they grew up, becoming someone they could trust and depend on. At an age when many teenagers might have chosen to spend most of their time with friends, Mileena always made time for her family whenever she was needed.
Mileena shared a particularly special bond with her grandmother, JoDeana James, whom she loved dearly. That love was evident in the way she cared for Deana toward the end of her life, showing a level of compassion, devotion, and selflessness that spoke volumes about the person Mileena was. The love she had for her grandmother and the care she gave her will forever remain a meaningful part of her legacy. Family meant so much to Mileena, and the love she gave so freely is a testament to the remarkable young woman she was.
Mileena was loved by so many, and if love could have saved her, she would still be with us today. Her life was far too short, and it is heartbreaking to think of all the years, memories, and milestones we will not get to share with her. She deserved so much more time in this world. Though her absence leaves an unimaginable void in the hearts of those who loved her, the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind will remain with us forever. She will be missed more than words could ever express.
Mileena was preceded in death by her grandmothers, JoDeana James and Tonya Arias, and her grandfather, Minh Nguyen.
She leaves behind her father, Dustin Black, and her mother, Tosha Arias; her two brothers, Easton Humphrey and Calvin Humphrey; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly and will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK, on October 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Her funeral service will take place at Choctaw Road Baptist Church, 14971 E Reno Ave, Choctaw, OK, on October 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
Committal will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, US, on October 20, 2026.
