Monserrate Colon Herrerias Weston, born in San German, Puerto Rico, September 8, 1923 to Candida Colon and David Lopez. She was a retired nurse’s aide at University Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was married to Guillermo Herrerias de Gongora from 1947 until his death in 1954. She was married again to Arthur Franklin Weston in 1986 until his death in 2004.
She attended New Life Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her children Catalina Herrerias, Adelaida Herrerias, William Herrerias, Sonia Santiago, and Ruben Caban, her stepchildren, Laveta Bradley, Sue Phillips, Judy Bilyeu, and Frank Weston, Grandchildren Danielle Tidd, Jennifer Han, Daniel Pilgrim, Roy Lucas, Matthew Caban, Mitchell Caban, Marisa Caban, Billy Herrerias, Tina Martinez, Michael Madison, Anthony Torres, Javonna Santiago, Christina Allen, Navelle Ramos and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel; Del City, OK with interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
