Oklahoma City. Monte was born November 11, 1955, to Vernon and Joy Thomason, in
Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Monte was a beautiful soul who enjoyed doing things to help others. He blessed the lives of so
many people because of his generous and helpful nature. When he saw a need, he stepped in
and offered his assistance. He was the oldest of three brothers and he took care of everything
for the family but he always shared credit with his brothers. He was a musically gifted pianist.
He was a master designer whose creative and artistic abilities shined through on everything he
touched. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his two brothers, David and wife Roxanne Thomason, Carson Thomason, two
nieces, Laura Wight and Holly Richison, two nephews Cory Thomason and Brett Thomason,
seven great nieces (Olivia, Laila, Jessie, Kenlie, Sammy, Maxine and Aubrey) and four great
nephews (Chase, Rylan, Calvin and Jacob).
Monte is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Joy Thomason and two partners, Tom
Gaylor and Lee Ruth.
Visitation will be at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, OK, Thursday, September 19th from
5:00 to 7:00.
Graveside service will be at Green Hill Cemetery Lindsay, OK on Friday, September 20th at
10:00 a.m.
