Myrna attended Brown Mackie Business School after high school and spent over 40 years working in bookkeeping and accounting for the oil and gas industries. When not working Myrna enjoyed working in the garden and shared her bountiful tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers with friends and family. Her greatest love of all was her children and grandchildren, she could be found at every birthday, graduation, holiday gathering and sporting event. Even when she had given up driving and had to arrange transportation she was there supporting her family. Myrna was blessed to call her friend of 25 years her adopted daughter. Ruby Mojica and Myrna shared a special friendship and Ruby lovingly called her Mom. They became roommates in 1996 and continued to share a home until her passing. Their love of OU sports and Thunder basketball made for many years of victory celebrations and watch parties. Myrna was a life long Christian and was raised in the Assembly of God Church. She had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and often spoke of the joyful reunion in heaven with her beloved daughter, parents, and brothers. Heaven has gained an angel that we loving called, Mom, Grandma, Sister and Friend, fly high our sweet angel until we meet again.
