Nieves Williams, known by her friends and family as “Snow”, was born on February 28, 1929 in Victoria, Texas. Her parents were Leopoldo and Felicita Moya. She had 4 siblings, and they grew up on a farm where they would help their dad with cotton picking. Growing up in South Texas, Snow loved riding around in wagons and dancing on Friday nights.
She met her future husband Larry G. Williams in Texas, and on their first date they went to the drive-in and had a Coke. They married and were together for 42 years until his passing in 1998. Larry was in the Air Force, and with him and their 4 children they moved to Oklahoma in 1965.
Snow was a very loving, caring person, who always had a positive attitude about everything. She loved her home and garden, and was in a gardening group called the Iris Club in Midwest City, where they raised money for the new Time Clock. Snow loved her family more than anything, and was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Snow is preceded in death by her husband, Larry G. Williams; parents, Leopoldo and Felicita Moya; and her sisters, Guadalupe Gallardo and Estella Ybarbo.
