On June 27, 1925 in Mounds, Oklahoma, Arthur and Irene Arnold welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Norma Lee. Although always very small in stature, she grew to be a bright, spunky woman whose heart was larger than life. After 89 years of spreading joy and love, Norma Lee Arnold Thompson passed away on March 1, 2015 after a long, fierce battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Eugene Kenneth (Tommy) Thompson and her younger sister, Arlene Stacey. She is survived by her baby sister, Gloria Lynam and husband, Pat of Jenks, Oklahoma along with 2 children: son, Kenneth Thompson and wife, Lila of Moore, Oklahoma and daughter, Becky Collier-Sewell and husband Ken of Fairview, Texas. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Nikki Gann and husband Bill of Moore, Oklahoma, Jesse Thompson and wife Keri of Vian, Oklahoma and Chelsea Collier of McKinney, Texas. She was blessed with 6 great-grandchildren: Brandon, Micaela and Rachel Butler, Rylee Frazier and Juliet and Eli Thompson. We will miss your sparkling eyes and warm smile, but take comfort knowing you will be welcomed into Heaven complete and whole once again.
