Olivia was a wonderful cook, specializing in enchiladas and her potato pie, which she cooked by memory. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and could often be found cheering them on to victory! Olivia enjoyed watching Young and the Restless and Murder She Wrote, keeping the children in the nursery at church, and collecting, apples, crosses, Noah’s ark and frog figurines for her rock garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ernesto Garcia Longoria; son, Freddie Longoria; and five siblings. Survivors include her children, Ernesto “Ernie” Longoria, Jr. (Debra), Veronica Ferguson, Blanche Longoria (George Madden), Teresa Longoria; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and nine siblings.
A visitation will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Del City, Oklahoma with interment to follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery.
