Orus Simon Jr.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the departure of Orus Simon Jr. from this earthly journey on April 2, 2024, at the age of 74. Born in Paris, Texas. Orus transitioned peacefully in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A dedicated and valiant serviceman, he answered his nation's call and honorably served two terms in Vietnam as a member of the United States Air Force. In times of solace, Orus found great joy in the tranquility of fishing, a pastime that brought him closer to nature's serene beauty.

Orus leaves behind his cherished wife, Debra, and their beloved sons, Orus, Keddrick, and Jerome Sr. His legacy continues through his treasured grandchildren – Jerome Jr., Jarelle, Arianna, Alexis, and Chanel. He will also be fondly remembered by his siblings Frank Sr., Bert, Freda, and Ruth.

Joining in eternal rest, Orus Simon Jr. is predeceased by his father, Orus Simon Sr., and his mother, Willie Bea.

Relatives, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Orus are invited to gather in remembrance and pay their respects. A memorial service to honor his memory will be held at Sunny Lane Funeral Home in Del City on April 20th at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
