Pamela Burton, 63, of Del City, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. She was born on March 1, 1949 in California to Burl and Faye Evans. Pamela attended Rose State College where she obtained a degree in computer science. She worked for many years for the Oklahoma State Department of Labor before retiring. Pamela enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, writing poetry and reading. Most of all she enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. Pam is survived by her children; Martha Springer of Midwest City, OK., Nola Hux of Oklahoma City, OK., and April Vanderlinde of Del City, OK., brothers; Dwight and his wife Doris Wickware of Tuttle, OK., and Roger and his wife Maggie Evans of Woodward, OK. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Samantha York, Andrew Quintero, Amanda Quintero, Albert Springer (Teddy), Hanna Vanderlinde, Zane Vanderlinde and Tayla Vanderlinde as well as 2 great grandchildren; Izabella York and Braven Garrison, 8 nieces and 4 nephews. Pam also leaves behind her cat, Yoda.
