Paul E. Keeler

Paul Edward Keeler, lovingly known by many as Eddie, was born on August 12, 1946, to Jess and Alma Keeler. He passed away on August 20th at Norman Vet Center, leaving this world to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Paul was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord. He loved Jesus deeply and dedicated much of his life to serving Him and helping others.

Paul graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1964. He went on to attend Southwestern Christian Ministries, where he earned his Associate Degree in Ministry. He later attended Rose State College, earning his Associate Degree in Medical Record Decoding.

Paul was licensed to preach in 1974 and was ordained in 1985. His faith was a very important part of who he was, and he was proud to serve the Lord and minister to those around him.

Paul proudly served three years in the United States Army, including his service in Vietnam. He was also deeply committed to his community and proudly served as a board member of Crutcho public Schools for more than 18 years. Through his years of service, he gave his time and heart to helping make a difference in the lives of others.

Outside of his work, education, ministry, and community service, Paul loved spending time with his family and making things for the people he loved. He especially enjoyed making potholders as gifts, putting time and love into each one. He also loved making wedding cakes and birthday cakes for the people he cared about. These were more than just crafts or cakes to Paul—they were ways he showed his love and made special moments even more meaningful.

Paul’s family was his greatest joy. He treasured the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and loved ones. The memories they made together will be cherished forever.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Alma Keeler, his grandson, Matthew Keeler, and his brother, David Keeler.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Cynthia; his son, Eric; his daughter, Lucinda; his son-in-law, Alex Eddens ; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Erica, Abigail, and Kylie Keeler, along with many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Paul’s family takes comfort in knowing that he is now home with Jesus and reunited with those who went before him.

Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for the life he lived, the love he shared, the people he served, and the memories he left behind. His faith, kindness, creativity, dedication, and love for his family will continue to live on through everyone who knew him.

Until we meet again, Eddie. You will forever be loved, remembered, and missed. ❤️

Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.

A Funeral Service will take place at 10am Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Cathedral of Deliverance, 4001 S. Portland Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73119.

Paul will be laid to rest at 10am Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538.
