Paul Elijah Todd

Paul Elijah Todd, 91 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away July 11, 2011 in McKinney, Texas. Born November 16, 1919 in Drumright, Oklahoma, he was the son of Oscar and Lou Teachie Hinson Todd. Paul was a WW II Army veteran. He had been owner-operator of an auto repair garage for many years and was an excellent mechanic. Paul was a longtime member of Crestwood Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Melba Oleta Todd; and 1 grandson, Kelly B. Todd and 10 siblings. Survivors include two sons, David Paul Todd of McKinney, Texas; Dale Todd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Debbie Rose of Arlington, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Viola "Bitty" . The family will receive friends prior to the service in the Crestwood Church Gymnasium from Noon till service time. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 at Crestwood Bapitst Church, 2515 NW 16th St., in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with Jim Cary officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. the same day at Oilton Cemetery, Oilton, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kelly B. Todd Cerebral Palsy and Neuromuscular Foundation, P. O. Box 2643, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74402. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunny Lane Funeral Home, Del City, Oklahoma.
