

Paulette Rene Romine, 69, of Del City, beloved wife of Larry Romine went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 20, 2023. She was born to Floyd and Theda Cox on June 16, 1953 in Tulsa, OK. She attended Edison High School in Tulsa and married David Walmsley and moved to Frankfurt, Germany where they were stationed during his time in the army in 1976. During that time, their only child, Jason was born. They returned to the states shortly thereafter and were stationed in Lawton, OK. Paulette moved to Oklahoma City in 1988 and married her second husband, Danny Stringer. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University in Business and worked as a paralegal for several reputable law firms in the OKC area. Paulette was an Epsilon Psi Chapter of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority. She held all Chapter and Kappa Province Offices and had been in the Sorority for over 15 years. She also earned her Real Estate License and Private Investigator License. Paulette eventually married the love of her life, Larry Romine of Del City. Paulette and Larry were members of Meadowood Baptist Church in Midwest City where she sung in the choir and she and Larry enjoyed their time serving together. Paulette and Larry loved to travel together and have visited London and Germany amongst several other places. She loved animals especially her dogs. She sponsored several adoption events and enjoyed helping others find homes for their animals. Paulette loved all things purple. From her head to her toes she was always styling something in her favorite shade of purple. Paulette is survived by her husband Larry Romine; her son and his wife, Jason and Christina Walmsley, her stepson and stepdaughter, Erryn and Rena Pollock, her sister Ruth Ann Cox; her nephew Kenneth Harrington and niece Mary Kraensel and her 6 amazing grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Adam Walmsley and his wife Lauren; Trevor Walmsley; Arwen Pollock; and Chase Stevens and Aubrey Stevens.
