She was a cook for Golden Palace and when she was not working at the restaurant, you could find her gardening or shopping. Phung was extremely proud of her home and the life she created.
Phung is survived by her two daughters, Thao Nguyen and husband Huy and Thuan Tran and husband Anh, sisters, Phuong Thu Thi Le and husband Dong Thanh Huynh, Loan Thi Le and husband Khoan Khac Nguyen, Oanh Kim Thi Le, Hoa Kim Thi Tran, along with 3 grandchildren, 3 nieces and 6 nephews.
