Donnie was always family oriented and enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, and traveling. He never met a stranger, loved being around people, and could be often found at the coffee shops, enjoying a cup of joe and a nice conversation.
Donnie is survived by his four siblings, Willis Ross, Gary Ross, Wanda Brown and Winona Thompson; nephews, Anthony Brown (Rhonda), Allen Brown (Cindy), Arthur Brown (Cindy) and other numerous nephews and nieces. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Lucille Ross, brothers Alvin, Cecil, and Edward sisters Blanche, Pauline and Alice.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel.
