Randell Howard Blanton was born on July 16, 1956 at Camp Legeune, North Carolina to Robert Herman Blanton and Inez Gazaway Blanton. After high school, he joined the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division, where he recorded jumps from a C130, 141 Jet and a UH1 Chopper (Huey).
He was a truck driver for I&R Trucking, a painter, and an exceptional tile setter. He loved his entire family so very much and was always there for them. He will be greatly missed, but he is now with some of his most favorite people in the whole world.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Herman Blanton Sr., and his sister, Robyn Helene Poff of Harrah, OK.
He is survived by his mother, Inez Gazaway Blanton, his brother, Robert H. Blanton Jr. of Edmond, OK, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Randell will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
